Accommodation at our family guesthouse

We offer spacious apartments (both one- and two-bedroom) equipped with a kitchen, refrigerator, and Smart TV. Most of them also offer beautiful views of the park and the town of Poděbrady.

We also offer comfortable Superior double rooms with a king-size bed and more space, which also feature a sofa and a mini-fridge. You can also choose from our smaller Basic rooms—double (with twin beds or a king-size bed) or single.

All rooms and suites feature a private bathroom with a shower, a Smart TV with satellite channels, a electric kettle, free Wi-Fi, and individually controlled heating.

Guests also have access to a common room with a kitchenette and a pleasant outdoor seating area in the garden. Smoking is permitted only in outdoor areas, and pets are not allowed.

The reception is open daily from 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM and from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Check-in is available from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and check-out is till 10:00 AM.

You can order breakfast (a cold buffet) right at the front desk; it is served from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM We’d also be happy to prepare you a cup of high-quality coffee from the Italian brand Bristot or offer you chilled beverages for a refreshing break.

Poděbrady Spa

Radost was built during the First Republic for spa guests and remains true to this tradition to this day. As a family pension, it offers a peaceful and pleasant stay to all visitors to the town of Poděbrady.

You’ll find us right in the heart of the park—just a few steps from the colonnade (about 40–70 meters). The train and bus stations, as well as both town squares, are approximately 300 meters away, so everything is conveniently within easy reach.

Poděbrady is one of the traditional Czech spa towns, with a history dating back to 1905, when a mineral water spring was discovered here. To this day, you can enjoy the local “Poděbradka” straight from the springs in town.

Thanks to its location and reasonable prices, Radost is a popular choice not only for tourists but also for spa guests, who appreciate its proximity to spa treatments and medical facilities, located just a few dozen meters from the guesthouse.

Sports in the area

A stay in Poděbrady offers a wide range of opportunities for active recreation and relaxation. You can play golf at the local 18-hole course or play tennis. Cycling and rollerblading along the bike paths by the Elbe River are also popular activities.

During the summer months, you’ll enjoy swimming in Poděbrady Lake, and year-round, you can take advantage of wellness facilities, balneotherapy treatments, or massages, all of which can be easily booked.

Culture

Cultural life in Poděbrady is diverse and accessible just a few steps from the pension. You can visit the Castle Theater, the Castle Cinema, or the Polabské Museum, which also includes the popular open-air museum in Přerov nad Labem.

In the evening, you can enjoy the pleasant atmosphere of the local cafés, restaurants, pubs, and clubs.

Meals

You can order breakfast from us at least one day in advance; we serve it in the reception area from 8:00 to 10:00 AM as a cold buffet.

Meals are entirely up to you. You can use the shared kitchen right in the guesthouse or choose from a wide selection of restaurants and cafés in Poděbrady, which are just a few steps away from your accommodation.
